Revilab® SL08 is a reinforced peptide complex for the urinary system. It contains a unique formula based on synthesised peptides from the T-cell immune system, vascular wall and bladder, obtained by analysing the active centres of polypeptides from the corresponding tissues of young animals.

The sublingual administration of Revilab SL08 has particular advantages for urological preparations. The active components are rapidly absorbed into the systemic circulation and reach the kidneys, where they are filtered and concentrated in the urine. This ensures high therapeutic concentrations of peptides directly in the urinary system with minimal systemic load.

The urinary system performs critical functions of cleansing the body of toxins and maintaining water and electrolyte balance. Every day, the kidneys filter about 180 litres of primary urine, concentrating it to 1-2 litres of final urine. This epithelium has unique barrier properties, protecting the underlying tissues from the aggressive effects of urine. In chronic cystitis, interstitial cystitis, and other inflammatory diseases of the bladder, the integrity of the urothelium is disrupted, leading to painful sensations and recurrent inflammation.

Plant extracts have pronounced urological properties. Licorice contains glycyrrhetinic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties. Propolis is a natural antiseptic that inhibits the growth of uropathogenic bacteria, including E. coli, the most common cause of cystitis.

Mint has a spasmolytic effect on the smooth muscles of the urinary tract, reducing painful urination and the feeling of incomplete bladder emptying. Chamomile and clove essential oils provide anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, while dihydroquercetin protects kidney cells from oxidative stress.
