Renefort® 20 capsules is a comprehensive preparation containing extracts of lingonberry and horsetail to support optimal kidney function. It contains a unique formula based on natural ingredients: magnesium oxide, sodium citrate, lingonberry leaves, horsetail herb, extracts of rosehip, rosemary, hibiscus, vitamins C and E, beta-carotene, citric acid, superoxide dismutase, dihydroquercetin, hesperidin, and coenzyme Q10. Developed by the Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology using the latest advances in anti-ageing medicine for comprehensive kidney protection, improving quality of life and increasing its duration.

Urolithiasis (urolithiasis) is the formation of stones in the kidneys, ureters, and bladder. Stones form when urine is oversaturated with salts (oxalates, phosphates, urates, cystine), insufficient fluid intake, a deficiency of crystallisation inhibitors (citrate, magnesium), and changes in urine pH. It manifests itself as renal colic - acute pain in the lower back when the stone moves through the ureter, haematuria (blood in the urine), and dysuria. Chronic pyelonephritis - bacterial inflammation of the renal pelvis and parenchyma. Chronic cystitis is an inflammation of the bladder. Chronic glomerulonephritis is an inflammatory condition of the renal glomeruli.

Chronic renal failure (CRF) is a progressive decline in kidney function with the accumulation of nitrogenous waste products (urea, creatinine), water and electrolyte imbalance, and the development of anaemia, osteodystrophy, and hypertension. Nephroptosis - prolapse of the kidney. Abnormalities of the urinary tract (duplication, strictures) predispose to urinary stasis and infections. All these conditions require support of kidney function and prevention of progression.

It combines anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, moderate antispasmodic and diuretic effects, supporting the health of the kidneys and urinary tract. Sodium citrate and magnesium citrate (magnesium oxide is converted to citrate in the acidic environment of the stomach) play a key role in the prevention and dissolution of urinary stones. About 80% of urinary stones consist of calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate.

Citrate binds with calcium in urine to form soluble complexes, which prevent crystallisation and stone formation. Citrate also inhibits the aggregation of calcium oxalate crystals, preventing the growth of existing stones. It alkalises urine by increasing its pH, which increases the solubility of urate (uric acid) and cystine stones.

Clinical studies show that citrate therapy reduces the recurrence of stone formation by 50-80%. Magnesium also binds oxalates in the intestine, reducing their absorption and excretion in the urine. Magnesium deficiency is an important risk factor for the formation of oxalate stones. Magnesium has an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of the ureters, facilitating the passage of small stones (up to 5-7 mm) and reducing pain in renal colic.

Lingonberry leaf is a traditional uroantiseptic and diuretic. Lingonberry contains arbutin, a glycoside that is hydrolysed in the alkaline environment of the bladder to hydroquinone, which has a powerful antibacterial effect against Escherichia coli, Proteus, staphylococci, and Klebsiella, the main causative agents of urinary tract infections (UTIs). Lingonberries are effective for cystitis, pyelonephritis, and urethritis. They also have a diuretic effect, increasing diuresis and flushing bacteria, salts, and small stones from the urinary tract.

The organic acids in lingonberries (benzoic and quinic) acidify the urine, creating an unfavourable environment for bacterial growth. Flavonoids and tannins have an anti-inflammatory effect, reducing swelling and hyperemia of the bladder mucosa. Lingonberries also contain vitamin C, which acidifies urine and has an immunostimulating effect. It is important to note that lingonberries are most effective in alkaline urine (pH > 8), when arbutin is completely hydrolysed.

Field horsetail herb is a powerful diuretic that increases the excretion of fluid and electrolytes, especially potassium. Horsetail contains flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol), saponins, and silicic acid. The diuretic effect is associated with flavonoids, which increase renal blood flow and glomerular filtration. Horsetail also has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and haemostatic effects. Silicon strengthens connective tissue, including the walls of blood vessels and the epithelium of the urinary tract.

Rosehip extract is rich in vitamin C (up to 20% of dry weight), flavonoids, carotenoids, and organic acids. Vitamin C has immunostimulant and antioxidant effects, strengthens capillary walls, and improves endothelial function. It acidifies urine, which can be useful for preventing infections (most uropathogens prefer an alkaline environment). Rosemary extract contains carnosol and rosmarinic acid, polyphenols with powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic effects.

Hibiscus extract (karkade) has diuretic, hypotensive and antispasmodic effects. It contains anthocyanins, organic acids and polysaccharides. Hibiscus lowers blood pressure, which is important in chronic renal failure, where hypertension is a common complication. Vitamin E, beta-carotene, superoxide dismutase (SOD), dihydroquercetin, hesperidin, and coenzyme Q10 provide powerful antioxidant protection. Chronic kidney disease increases oxidative stress, which damages nephrons and accelerates the progression of renal failure.

FIELD OF APPLICATION:

  • chronic pyelonephritis
  • chronic cystitis
  • chronic glomerulonephritis
  • nephroptosis (kidney prolapse)

  • dissolution of urinary stones
  • reduction of inflammation in the kidneys and urinary tract
  • prevention of recurrence of stone formation
  • urinary tract infections

ADVANTAGES:

Renefort is a complex preparation based on natural ingredients for supporting optimal kidney function, developed by the Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. Sodium citrate and magnesium citrate play a key role in the prevention and dissolution of urinary stones - they bind with calcium, preventing crystallisation, inhibit the aggregation of calcium oxalate crystals, alkalise urine to dissolve urate and cystine stones, and reduce recurrence by 50-80%. Magnesium binds oxalates in the intestines and has an antispasmodic effect, facilitating the passage of stones.

Lingonberry leaves with arbutin have a powerful antibacterial effect against uropathogens, are effective in cystitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis, increase diuresis, washing out bacteria and salts. Horsetail herb is a powerful diuretic, increases renal blood flow and filtration, has an anti-inflammatory effect, and silicon strengthens the epithelium of the urinary tract. Rosehip with vitamin C has an immunostimulating, antioxidant effect and strengthens capillaries.

Rosemary has anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effects. Hibiscus lowers blood pressure in chronic renal failure. Vitamin E, beta-carotene, SOD, dihydroquercetin, hesperidin, and Q10 provide powerful antioxidant protection, slowing the progression of chronic renal failure.

The drug combines anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, moderate antispasmodic and diuretic effects, supports the health of the kidneys and urinary tract, helps dissolve urinary stones, reduces the risk of their formation, helps to slow down the progression of chronic renal failure, promotes the elimination of excess fluid, and reduces discomfort in diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract. Reliable support for kidney health with the power of natural ingredients.
