Previn® 30 tablets is a new-generation drug with hesperidin and L-arginine for the prevention of stroke and heart attack. It contains a unique formula based on hesperidin, nicotinamide (vitamin PP) and plant components - L-arginine, choline bitartrate and green tea extract. It has powerful antioxidant and angioprotective effects. It dilates blood vessels, improves microcirculation, relieves venous congestion, strengthens the walls of blood vessels and capillaries, helps lower blood pressure and prevents the development of cardiovascular diseases.

Myocardial infarction is the necrosis of a section of the heart muscle due to acute blockage of the coronary artery by a thrombus. The main risk factors are atherosclerosis, hypertension, dyslipidaemia, diabetes, smoking, obesity, and physical inactivity. Stroke is an acute disturbance of cerebral circulation leading to the death of neurons. Ischemic stroke (85% of cases) develops when a cerebral artery is blocked by a thrombus or embolus. Haemorrhagic stroke (15%) occurs when a blood vessel ruptures and bleeds into the brain.

Hesperidin is a citrus bioflavonoid from the flavanone glycoside group, which has pronounced angioprotective and venotonic properties. It strengthens the walls of capillaries and venules, reducing their permeability and fragility. Hesperidin improves venous tone, reducing venous stasis and oedema. It has a powerful antioxidant effect, protecting the vascular endothelium from oxidative damage. Hesperidin also reduces the level of inflammatory markers (C-reactive protein, interleukins), reducing chronic inflammation in the vascular wall - a key factor in atherosclerosis.

Clinical studies show that hesperidin improves endothelial function — the ability of blood vessels to dilate in response to stimuli. Endothelial dysfunction is an early marker of cardiovascular disease. Hesperidin lowers systolic and diastolic blood pressure, especially in people with high blood pressure. It improves the lipid profile - it lowers total cholesterol, LDL (‘bad’ cholesterol), triglycerides, and increases HDL (‘good’ cholesterol). Hesperidin also improves microcirculation by reducing blood viscosity and erythrocyte aggregation.

L-arginine is a conditionally essential amino acid, the only substrate for the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO), a key signalling molecule in the cardiovascular system. NO, synthesised by endothelial NO synthase, relaxes the smooth muscles of blood vessels, causing vasodilation and lowering blood pressure. It also prevents platelet aggregation, leukocyte adhesion to the endothelium, and smooth muscle cell proliferation — all processes involved in the development of atherosclerosis. In cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and atherosclerosis, NO synthesis is reduced due to endothelial dysfunction. Additional intake of L-arginine helps restore NO production.

Clinical studies show that L-arginine lowers blood pressure in people with hypertension, improves exercise tolerance in patients with ischaemic heart disease and heart failure, improves endothelial function, and reduces arterial stiffness. L-arginine is especially effective in combination with antioxidants, as oxidative stress destroys NO, converting it into peroxynitrite, a toxic compound.

Nicotinamide (vitamin PP, niacin) is involved in redox processes that convert sugars and fats into energy. It is part of the coenzymes NAD and NADP, which are necessary for the functioning of hundreds of enzymes. Niacin has a unique ability to improve the lipid profile - it reduces triglycerides by 20-50%, LDL by 5-25%, increases HDL by 15-35%, and reduces lipoprotein(a), an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Niacin also dilates peripheral blood vessels, improving microcirculation and oxygen delivery to tissues.

Choline bitartrate is a precursor of acetylcholine and a component of phosphatidylcholine (lecithin), the main phospholipid of cell membranes. Choline is involved in lipid metabolism and the transport of fats from the liver. Choline deficiency can lead to fatty liver disease. Choline also lowers homocysteine levels, an amino acid whose high levels are an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease, as it damages the vascular endothelium.

Green tea extract contains catechins, especially epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a powerful polyphenol with multiple cardioprotective effects. EGCG reduces LDL oxidation, decreases atherosclerotic plaque formation, improves endothelial function, lowers blood pressure, and improves lipid profile. It also has an antithrombotic effect, reducing platelet aggregation. Regular consumption of green tea is associated with a 20-30% reduction in the risk of heart attack and stroke.

ADVANTAGES:

Previn is a new generation drug for the prevention of stroke and heart attack based on hesperidin, nicotinamide and plant components. Hesperidin, a citrus bioflavonoid with powerful angioprotective properties, strengthens the walls of capillaries and veins, reduces permeability and fragility, improves venous tone, reduces venous stasis and oedema, lowers blood pressure, improves endothelial function, reduces cholesterol and triglycerides, reduces chronic inflammation in the vascular wall, and improves microcirculation.

L-arginine restores nitric oxide synthesis, dilates blood vessels, lowers blood pressure, improves exercise tolerance, and prevents platelet aggregation. Nicotinamide (vitamin PP) participates in redox processes that convert sugars and fats into energy, reduces triglycerides by 20-50%, LDL, and increases HDL by 15-35%, dilates peripheral vessels, and improves microcirculation. Choline bitartrate participates in lipid metabolism and fat transport and reduces homocysteine. Green tea extract with EGCG reduces LDL oxidation, improves the endothelium, lowers blood pressure, has an antithrombotic effect, and reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke by 20-30%.

The drug dilates blood vessels, improves microcirculation, relieves venous stasis, strengthens the walls of blood vessels and capillaries, helps lower blood pressure, and prevents the development of cardiovascular diseases. It strengthens the walls of blood vessels, increases blood flow, lowers cholesterol levels, acts as an antioxidant, and improves the supply of oxygen and nutrients to tissues.
