Pinalex® eye balm 10 ml - a peptide bioregulator for vision with peptides from the spleen, blood vessels and retina. Contains a unique formula based on peptide complexes AA-3 (immune system), AA-6 (retina), AA-7 (vascular wall), panthenol, hyaluronic acid and succinic acid. A unique peptide-based eye balm designed to stimulate the regeneration of eye tissue in diseases and injuries of the retina and cornea. Peptides isolated from the spleen, vascular wall and retina regulate the functions of the immune and vascular systems, improve metabolism in the eye tissues, triggering recovery (regeneration) processes at the cellular level.

Retinal vein thrombosis is an acute occlusion (blockage) of the central retinal vein or its branches by a thrombus. It develops in hypertension, atherosclerosis, diabetes, glaucoma, and increased blood viscosity. It manifests itself as a sudden painless loss of vision; ophthalmoscopy reveals multiple haemorrhages (‘crushed tomato’) and retinal oedema. Retinal ischaemia can lead to neovascularisation and secondary glaucoma. Diabetic retinopathy is damage to the retinal vessels in diabetes with microaneurysms, haemorrhages, exudates, macular oedema, and proliferative changes. Atherosclerotic angiopathy is a change in the retinal arteries in atherosclerosis and hypertension.

The AA-6 peptide complex is obtained from the retina of young animals and contains short peptide sequences specific for the regulation of retinal cell functions - photoreceptors (rods and cones), ganglion cells, pigment epithelial cells, and Müller cells. When applied topically (periorbally - around the eyes), the peptides penetrate through the skin of the eyelids to the eye tissues. They stimulate the regeneration of damaged retinal cells and improve the metabolism of the pigment epithelium, a layer of cells that supports photoreceptors, participates in the visual pigment cycle, phagocytoses spent segments of rods and cones, and ensures the transport of nutrients.

AA-6 peptides accelerate the restoration of the retina's light sensitivity after damage and increase its resistance to hypoxia (lack of oxygen) and ischaemia (impaired blood supply). The retina has one of the highest metabolic rates in the body and is very sensitive to oxygen deficiency - even short-term ischaemia can lead to irreversible damage to photoreceptors and ganglion cells. Peptides improve cellular respiration (mitochondrial function) by increasing ATP production and improving cell survival during hypoxia.

The AA-7 peptide complex is obtained from the vascular wall and contains peptides for regulating endothelial function. The retina has a dual blood supply: the inner layers are nourished by the central retinal artery, while the outer layers (photoreceptors) are nourished by the choroid (vascular membrane). In vascular diseases of the eye (diabetic retinopathy, atherosclerotic angiopathy, retinal vein thrombosis, hypertensive retinopathy), the endothelium is damaged, capillary permeability increases (retinal oedema, exudates), ischaemia develops, microaneurysms, haemorrhages and pathological neovascularisation form.

AA-7 peptides improve vascular permeability by normalising it, reducing pathologically increased permeability (reducing oedema) and improving the transport of oxygen and nutrients through the vascular wall. They strengthen capillaries, reduce their fragility and improve microcirculation. In retinal vein thrombosis, peptides promote recanalisation (restoration of the lumen) of the vessel, improve collateral circulation, and reduce oedema and haemorrhages. In diabetic and atherosclerotic angiopathy, they slow down the progression of vascular changes.

The AA-3 peptide complex is obtained from the spleen and regulates the functions of the B-link of the immune system. The eye is an immunoprivileged organ with a weakened immune response to prevent damage to delicate tissues. However, infections, injuries, and degenerative processes can lead to inflammation (uveitis, retinitis) and autoimmune reactions. AA-3 peptides modulate the immune response, reducing excessive inflammation while maintaining protection against infections. They improve local immunity by accelerating the elimination of pathogens and damaged cells.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural polysaccharide that is part of the vitreous body of the eye (up to 98% of the vitreous body is water bound by hyaluronic acid). When applied periocularly, hyaluronic acid moisturises and softens the skin of the eyelids, improves its barrier function and stimulates regeneration. It can also penetrate deeper tissues, improving hydration and trophism. Hyaluronic acid has an anti-inflammatory effect and accelerates healing.

Panthenol (provitamin B5) is rapidly converted into pantothenic acid, which participates in the synthesis of coenzyme A, a cofactor necessary for many metabolic processes. Panthenol stimulates epithelialisation (restoration of the epithelium of the cornea and conjunctiva), accelerates the healing of microdamages, and has anti-inflammatory and moisturising effects. In cases of corneal trauma (erosion, ulcers, burns, postoperative wounds), panthenol accelerates epithelial regeneration.

Succinic acid is a key intermediate in the Krebs cycle (tricarboxylic acid cycle), the main pathway for energy production in mitochondria. It improves cellular respiration, increases ATP synthesis, and enhances cell resistance to hypoxia and ischaemia. Succinic acid has an antioxidant effect, protecting retinal cells from oxidative stress, which is particularly intense due to high metabolism and constant exposure to light. It accelerates the repair of damaged tissues and improves microcirculation.

FIELD OF APPLICATION:

  • diseases and injuries of the retina
  • regulation of the immune and vascular systems of the eye
  • restoration and regeneration of eye tissues at the cellular level
  • retinal vein thrombosis (restoration)
  • atherosclerotic retinal angiopathy
  • diabetic retinopathy
  • improvement of retinal vascular permeability
  • improvement of metabolism in eye tissues
  • normalisation of cellular respiration
  • restoration of retinal light sensitivity
  • increased resistance of the retina to hypoxia and ischaemia
  • prevention of eye diseases

ADVANTAGES:

Pinalex is a unique peptide-based eye balm that stimulates the regeneration of eye tissue in cases of retinal and corneal diseases and injuries. The AA-6 peptide complex from the retina stimulates the regeneration of photoreceptors, ganglion cells, and pigment epithelium, improves pigment epithelium metabolism, accelerates the restoration of light sensitivity, increases resistance to hypoxia and ischaemia, and improves cellular respiration and mitochondrial function. Peptide complex AA-7 from the vascular wall improves the permeability of retinal vessels (normalises, reduces pathological oedema), strengthens capillaries, improves microcirculation, is effective in retinal vein thrombosis (promotes recanalisation, improves collateral circulation), atherosclerotic and diabetic angiopathy.

Peptide complex AA-3 from the spleen regulates the functions of the B-link of the immune system, modulates the immune response, reduces excessive inflammation, and improves local immunity. Hyaluronic acid moisturises and softens the skin of the eyelids, improves barrier function, stimulates regeneration, and has an anti-inflammatory effect. Panthenol stimulates epithelialisation of the cornea and conjunctiva, accelerates the healing of microdamage, and moisturises. Succinic acid improves cellular respiration, increases ATP, enhances resistance to hypoxia, has an antioxidant effect, and accelerates recovery.

Peptides regulate the functions of the immune and vascular systems, improve metabolism in the tissues of the eye, and trigger recovery processes at the cellular level. Normalises cellular respiration, restores light sensitivity, and increases the resistance of the retina to hypoxia and ischaemia.

Has no contraindications thanks to peptides from natural amino acids and hypoallergenic components that provide a softening, moisturising, and regenerating effect. It can be used to prevent eye diseases and improve the functional condition of the organs of vision.
