Pangluin® 120 ml - a natural formula with blueberries and plant extracts to support health in type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Contains a unique formula carefully developed based on rosehip juice concentrate and natural plant extracts - gotu kola, dereza, rosehip, blueberry, yarrow, liquorice, St. John's wort, calendula, nettle and raspberry leaves. This highly effective complex of botanical extracts helps improve the function of pancreatic beta cells, supporting their resistance to stress and promoting overall health.

Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease in which the beta cells of the pancreas are destroyed and insulin secretion ceases. Lifelong insulin therapy is required. Type 2 diabetes is a metabolic disease characterised by insulin resistance (cells do not respond to insulin) and a progressive decrease in insulin secretion. It develops in 90-95% of diabetics and is associated with obesity, physical inactivity, and genetics. Both types lead to chronic hyperglycaemia, which damages blood vessels, nerves, and organs.

Diabetic angiopathy is vascular damage in diabetes. Microangiopathy affects small vessels (capillaries) - retinopathy (retinal damage), nephropathy (kidney damage), and neuropathy (nerve damage) develop. Macroangiopathy affects large blood vessels, accelerating atherosclerosis of the coronary, cerebral, and peripheral arteries, increasing the risk of heart attack, stroke, and gangrene. Coagulation disorders and capillary fragility exacerbate the situation. Impaired glucose tolerance - prediabetes, when fasting glucose is 5.6-6.9 mmol/L or after exercise 7.8-11.0 mmol/L.

Blueberry extract is one of the most studied herbal remedies for supporting health in diabetes. Blueberries contain anthocyanins, flavonoids with pronounced hypoglycaemic, antioxidant and angioprotective effects. Anthocyanins improve insulin sensitivity by stimulating the translocation of GLUT-4 glucose transporters in muscle and adipose tissue cells. This allows cells to utilise glucose from the blood more efficiently, reducing glycaemia. Blueberries also protect the beta cells of the pancreas from oxidative stress and apoptosis, supporting their ability to secrete insulin.

Blueberry leaves contain neomirtillin, an alkaloid with insulin-like action that lowers blood glucose levels. Blueberries also inhibit alpha-glucosidase, an enzyme that breaks down complex carbohydrates into glucose in the intestine, slowing glucose absorption and preventing postprandial (after eating) sugar spikes. Blueberry anthocyanins strengthen capillaries and improve microcirculation, which is critical for preventing diabetic complications such as retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy, and diabetic foot.

Centella asiatica extract contains triterpene saponins — asiaticoside and madecassoside — which stimulate collagen synthesis, strengthen the vascular wall, and improve microcirculation. Diabetes causes non-enzymatic glycation of collagen in the walls of blood vessels, making them stiffer, more brittle, and more permeable. Gotu kola counteracts this process by accelerating collagen renewal. It also improves wound healing, which is important for diabetic feet, where wounds heal slowly due to impaired blood supply and immunity.

Goji extract is rich in polysaccharides, carotenoids, and flavonoids with hypoglycaemic and antioxidant effects. Goji polysaccharides improve insulin sensitivity, protect beta cells from damage, and stimulate insulin secretion. They also lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, as diabetes is often accompanied by dyslipidaemia. Carotenoids, especially zeaxanthin, protect the retina from diabetic retinopathy, one of the most serious complications of diabetes, which can lead to blindness.

Rose hips are a rich source of vitamin C, flavonoids and carotenoids. Vitamin C is critically important in diabetes — it reduces oxidative stress, improves endothelial function, reduces protein glycation and improves wound healing. Vitamin C deficiency is increased in diabetics due to competition between glucose and ascorbic acid for transporters. Rosehip also contains pectins, which slow glucose absorption in the intestine.

Yarrow extract has hypoglycaemic, hepatoprotective and choleretic effects. It improves liver function, which plays a key role in regulating glucose levels (gluconeogenesis, glycogenolysis). Liquorice contains glycyrrhizin, which has anti-inflammatory properties, and glabridin, which improves insulin sensitivity. St. John's wort has antidepressant effects, which is important because diabetes is often accompanied by depression.

Calendula has anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties. Nettle is rich in chlorophyll, vitamins and minerals, has a hypoglycaemic effect and lowers cholesterol. Raspberry leaves contain fragarine, an alkaloid that tones smooth muscle and improves metabolism. All components work synergistically to normalise lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, strengthen blood vessels, improve their permeability, and reduce the risk of diabetes complications.

FIELD OF APPLICATION:

  • type 1 diabetes mellitus
  • type 2 diabetes mellitus
  • prevention of diabetic vascular angiopathy
  • lipid and carbohydrate metabolism disorders
  • impaired glucose tolerance (prediabetes)
  • blood clotting disorders in diabetes
  • capillary fragility
  • support for pancreatic beta cells
  • prevention of vascular damage in diabetes
  • moderate hypoglycaemic effect
  • diabetic retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy
  • dyslipidaemia in diabetes

ADVANTAGES:

Pangluin is a natural, highly effective formula specially developed to support health in type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Blueberry extract with anthocyanins and neomyrtillin improves insulin sensitivity, stimulates glucose utilisation, protects beta cells from oxidative stress, inhibits alpha-glucosidase (slows down glucose absorption), strengthens capillaries, and improves microcirculation to prevent diabetic complications. Gotu kola strengthens the vascular wall, counteracts collagen glycation, and improves wound healing.

Goji berries with polysaccharides improve insulin sensitivity, protect beta cells, lower cholesterol, and carotenoids protect the retina from retinopathy. Rosehip provides vitamin C, which reduces oxidative stress, improves endothelial function, and reduces glycation, while pectins slow glucose absorption. Yarrow has hypoglycaemic and hepatoprotective effects. Liquorice improves insulin sensitivity. Nettle reduces glucose and cholesterol. Calendula, St. John's wort, and raspberry complement the effect.

The complex helps normalise lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, strengthen blood vessels, improve their permeability, reduce the risk of diabetes complications, improve glucose tolerance, and lower blood sugar levels. It supports the function and stress resistance of pancreatic beta cells. Its natural base makes the product a safe and effective means of maintaining health in diabetes. It is recommended for the prevention of diabetic vascular angiopathy.
