Cartalax® 60 capsules is a synthetic peptide complex for supporting cartilage tissue and joints. It contains a unique formula based on short peptides consisting of 3-4 amino acids, which help normalise the functions of cartilage tissue and the musculoskeletal system. Bioactive peptides are obtained through detailed analysis of the amino acid sequences of polypeptides, which are copies of the active centre of the drug extracted from the cartilage and bone tissue of young animals.

The mechanism of action of Cartalax® is based on the ability of short peptides to penetrate chondrocytes, the cells of cartilage tissue, and stimulate the synthesis of collagen, proteoglycans and other components of the extracellular matrix. The AC-4 peptide complex is the main active component containing specific peptide sequences for regulating cartilage metabolism. Alanine participates in cellular energy metabolism and promotes the synthesis of proteins necessary for the restoration of the cartilage matrix. Glutamic acid plays an important role in the formation of collagen fibres and maintaining the structural integrity of cartilage tissue. Aspartic acid participates in the regeneration and renewal of cartilage cells.
